The Independence Mission gives boys ages 10–14 hands-on opportunities to practice the everyday skills that help them become more capable and self-reliant. Through 12 practical missions, your son will learn to plan ahead, take responsibility, solve everyday problems, handle age-appropriate tasks, communicate clearly, and become less dependent on constant reminders. The goal isn’t to make him grow up faster. It’s to give him the skills, confidence, and judgment to do more for himself—one small step at a time.

Why I Built the This?

As a parent, I realized something important: our kids are growing up in a world that gives them more information than ever, but not always enough opportunities to practice doing things for themselves. I wanted my son to know how to plan ahead, handle responsibilities, solve everyday problems, speak up, recover from mistakes, and become someone others can depend on—not someday, but while he’s growing up.
